Well, I'm starting a blog. And I don't really know why. To give you little stories of how I've spent the beginning of 2010 trying to make life delightful and exciting? To blather on about how much I like my friends, my writing, my ballet classes? I'm not sure. But right now it gives me something to do.
A little bit about myself: I love writing. Dancing is one of the few things on the planet that really, really makes me happy. I'm kind of a geek when it comes to my favorite movies, and my favorite songs. I'm awkward and small and I like taking pictures with my new camera. And I most definitely love every aspect of the weather up here (call me crazy).
Right now it's grey and misty outside, and not very appealing, but I'll still like it anyway. The first thing along my "Keys to Happiness List" for today is "Don't complain and simply accept the fact that it's raining outside, which is a good excuse to make hot chocolate and have little attempts at making origami cranes." Which is exactly what I did:
And I think "FAIL" should be slapped all over it. :)
A few years ago I bought some origami paper at this Asian food market we visit, and I'm not sure why I did, so I figured that now would be the time to put it to use. So I googled "how to make an origami crane", watched a video, and in the end my crane kind of looked like... well, I'll leave that to you to decide. :D
I love the crane! So cute!!! i think it looks very much like a crane.
